Finally got this section all done. The only parts left to do is my grandson name and the French knotes for the stars. They will be the last.

I have started on the bottom of the stocking, just want to get all the section of the backstitch done first.

I got a new section done, but have not been able to do much cross stitching done over the weekend, because I had a accident at work on Friday. I landed on my arm and all my shoulder was swollen.

Hoping to get some more done today since the swelling and pain is al gone.

When will I learn

When will I every learn not to write a post when I am very tired, it just never make sense sometimes. One of these days I will remember.

The other night I was able to work a bit on the stocking, because my son is here visiting for the holidays- spent the night over at his bother's

Finally, was able to get his head finished except for the backstitching which I just hate with a passion.

I am getting very anxious to get this one completed.

Run of picture colour tones

I love flowers and applique work. I always had problem just finding the right fabric for the shading that is needed for me. I like to have my applique flowers on my quilts to look just right, or as natural as possible.

I just love working with the dyes and seeing what all the fun is.

Quilt Name Is: Playing With Colour

I made this quilt for my niece back in Christmas 2004. All the dark fabrics are store purchased, but the background fabric is stamped with 3 different shades of purple. At the time I just couldn't find the right fabric so designed and dyied my own.

This was a mystery quilt I found on the internet. If any quilters recongined the author can you let me know. I know I do still have the pattern packed away because I would like to make another one. I like the pattern.
