I love flowers and applique work. I always had problem just finding the right fabric for the shading that is needed for me. I like to have my applique flowers on my quilts to look just right, or as natural as possible.

I just love working with the dyes and seeing what all the fun is.

Quilt Name Is: Playing With Colour

I made this quilt for my niece back in Christmas 2004. All the dark fabrics are store purchased, but the background fabric is stamped with 3 different shades of purple. At the time I just couldn't find the right fabric so designed and dyied my own.

This was a mystery quilt I found on the internet. If any quilters recongined the author can you let me know. I know I do still have the pattern packed away because I would like to make another one. I like the pattern.

Christmas Eleagency

This is another Mirabilia pattern I have been working on she needs 13 pkges of the same beads for her.

Normally she would be done on a 32 count, but she really needs a 28 count for the beads to sit right on the fabric.

She is being done on linen Ant. Jade.

I work on her slowly because of all the greens, and when I really need a break from the 25 count for the Heads.

QS Iris

This is the HEAD (Heaven and Earth designs) I am working on over the Christmas Holidays because it is a QS in a hand frame, because I have 1 of my son's Scott in for the holidays. The stocking is in my frame because the 18 count fabric doesn't have enough side fabric to fit in a hoop. I find working on the stocking in the frame, it just takes up to much room right now to work on it util my son leaves for home.

I am also working on an other HEAD pattern called Forbidden Doorway by Merideth Dillman, I have 1out of 48 pgs done so far. I she is being done in my frame, I really have to get this stocking finish, have to startworking on that after my son is gone home then I will get going.

I already have 2 other HEAD patterns I have started picking put some threads when it comes on sale at Micheal's for them.

Both of these HEAD patterns I started in May of 2008

Santa's Animal Parade Stocking

This is the stocking I have been working on for the past 2 years. This cross stitch pattern has so much back stitch on it in 5 different colours as well. Now I know why I really like doing the HEAD pattern- no back stitch at all.

Midsummer Nights Eve

Finished all the cross stiting on her about 6 months ago, she just needs her beading done. i will only start the beading when my grandson's Christmas Stocking is finished this year for 2009. (Just hate back stitching, and lots on this stocking)

GTO

My DD did all the xstitch of the speility thread, because it called for 2 vyb and 1 of reg thread. I just seem tho have alot of problems with this combination. I did all the reg threat xstitch. So this was a joint venture.

This one is now ready for framing. This is for my Grandson T.J.
